Penerapan E-absensi dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara di SDN 163098 Kota Tebing Tinggi

In the light to improve the civil servants’ performance in Tebing Tinggi City, The Communication and Information Department launched the e-absensi application, including to the employee of SDN 163098. This application is claimed to be more effective in improving the employees’ performance because it uses GPS technology to record the location point when the employees fill out the attendance thus it lessens the fraud in filling out the attendance. This study aims to examine the claim using qualitative study by interviewing two source people. They are the civil servants at SDN 163098 Tebing Tinggi City. The result shows that the application of e-absesnsi at SDN 163098 Tebing Tinggi City gives positive impact on the improving employees’ performance. They become more disciplined and attend school earlier so the students will not get neglected and can start class on time.
