Implementasi Konsep Tri Hita Karana di PAUD
Abstract
Tri Hita Karana is part of the Balinese way of life which can lead to harmonious relationships. The concept of Tri Hita Karana is an important part to be applied in the learning process in ECE because it is closely related to the formation of early childhood character. This research is a qualitative research that aims to describe the forms of implementation of the Tri Hita Karana concept in ECE activities. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and notes on learning activities in ECE. The subjects of this study were 5 teachers from ECE with Hindu nuances in Tabanan Regency, Bali. The research data were analyzed qualitatively using the Miles and Huberman model, which consisted of: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification. The results of the study show that there are various forms of implementation of the Tri Hita Karana concept in activities in ECE, which can be divided into 3 categories, namely: 1) Parhayangan consists of: praying/praying together, wearing prayer clothes that are polite and neat, praying before do activities, and give thanks for what is obtained. 2) Pawongan, consisting of: showing respect and politeness when meeting or talking to other people, sharing toys with friends, playing with anyone regardless of background, sharing food, helping friends in need, saying sorry when wrong and receiving love when receive something. 3) Weakening, consisting of: cleaning the school environment, keeping places of worship clean, caring for plants, disposing of trash in its place, and tidying up toys after use. The implementation of the Tri Hita Karana concept in ECE will be one of the efforts to instill character values in early childhood which are also in accordance with the values of Pancasila students.
