HEXAGON: Jurnal Ilmu dan Pendidikan Matematika is committed to supporting the dissemination of high-quality research in mathematics, mathematics education, and applied mathematics while maintaining transparency regarding publication fees.

Current Article Processing Charge

Currently, HEXAGON does not charge authors any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, editorial processing, or publication. All manuscripts accepted for publication are published without charge to the authors.

The current no-fee policy applies to manuscripts submitted and processed under the journal's prevailing publication policy. Any future changes to publication charges will be announced transparently on the journal website and will apply in accordance with the policy in effect at the relevant time.

Fee Waiver Policy

HEXAGON recognizes that publication charges may create financial barriers for some authors. Should an Article Processing Charge (APC) be introduced in the future, the journal will maintain a fee waiver or reduction mechanism for eligible authors in accordance with the journal's prevailing policy.

Requests for a waiver or reduction will be considered independently of the editorial and peer-review process. An author's ability or inability to pay publication charges will not influence the evaluation, acceptance, or rejection of a manuscript.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based solely on the scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and suitability of the manuscript to the journal's Focus and Scope. Financial considerations do not influence the peer-review process or editorial decisions.

The handling editors and reviewers involved in evaluating manuscripts are not informed of, and do not participate in, decisions concerning fee waiver or reduction requests.

Additional Information

  • HEXAGON is published electronically. Printed or hard-copy versions of individual articles or journal issues are not routinely provided.
  • Authors may request a high-resolution digital version of the journal cover after the relevant issue has been officially published.
  • The journal conducts similarity screening as part of its editorial process. Authors may request information regarding the final similarity-check result of their manuscript in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures.
