<p>The Merdeka Curriculum has been implemented, but various kinds of obstacles are still found by schools and teachers in its implementation. For this reason, it is necessary to prepare prospective teachers for the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum by looking for the necessary competency development strategies. This study aims to analyze the competencies needed by prospective teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and its development strategy. This research is a library research study on articles related to the characteristics of the Merdeka Curriculum and the difficulties in its application. As a result, the competencies that need to be developed are pedagogic, professional, personal and social competencies that have been adapted to the characteristics of the Merdeka curriculum. The competencies developed are related to the preparation of simpler learning modules, the preparation of learning objectives that are tailored to the characteristics of each student, the use of learning models and media that can increase student creativity, the use of technology in the implementation and evaluation of learning. So the strategy that can be used to achieve these competencies is to integrate the competency development of prospective teachers in related subjects. In addition, it is necessary to hold socialization and technical guidance about the Merdeka Curriculum, so that prospective teachers can achieve four competencies in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum learning.</p>Novi Andri Nurcahyono

<p>Every people, including elementary school children, need nutritional literacy. This study aims to develop a science learning design to increase students' nutritional literacy in the Merdeka curriculum. This research and development study uses the ADRRI (Analyze, Design, Review, Revision, Implementation) cycle model. This research successfully analyzed the science curriculum in both K13 and the Merdeka Curriculum regarding the relevance of elementary science learning in increasing nutritional literacy. This research also successfully developed a framework and design for elementary science learning to improve students' nutritional literacy. <p>The ability to understand is the main requirement in the process of learning mathematics. Understanding is the basis for achieving the expected abilities in mathematics. This study aims to obtain an overview of the increase in the ability to understand mathematically geometric material (cubes and blocks) in students who receive cooperative learning with the think-pair-share type and direct learning. The method in this study was a quasi-experimental design using non-equivalent groups for pretest and posttest. The subjects of this study were two classes, namely the fifth grade at an elementary school in Cidahu, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province. From this study, it was concluded that, based on the average increase in students' mathematical understanding abilities in geometric material (cubes and blocks), those who studied with the think pair and share type cooperative model achieved higher results than those who received direct learning.</p>Ervin Reliavirli Rusti

<p>One of the efforts of educators to increase students' interest in learning is to use various learning media, one of the media used is audio-visual. The problem in this study is how the influence of audio-visual learning media on the learning interest of elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of audio-visual learning media on elementary school students' learning interests. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with data analysis using Excel. The sample in this study were 12 elementary school students who were randomly selected. The results showed that the students were very happy, interested and very interested in using audio-visual learning media in the teaching and learning process. With very high student interest and interest, this in turn influences student learning outcomes. Students can understand learning material more quickly. The implications of this research are improving the quality of student learning, developing learning models and increasing student understanding.</p>Adiyana Adam

<p>This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning method with genius learning strategy on mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri Biringkaloro Pallangga. Pseudo-experimental research method. Research design pretest-posttest comparison group design. The study population was all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Biringkaloro Pallangga totaling 160 students. The research sample amounted to 80 students obtained using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using learning outcomes test instruments and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of descriptive statistical analysis obtained the average mathematics learning outcomes of students with jigsaw type cooperative method 74.00 and genius learning strategy 76.88. The results of inferential statistical analysis showed that the sign value obtained was 0.000 in the sense that (0.000 <0.05) so that it was concluded that there was a significant difference in mathematics learning outcomes by applying the jigsaw type cooperative method and the genius learning strategy in fifth grade students of Biringkaloro Pallangga State Elementary School. The conclusion of the study shows that the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning method with the genius learning strategy is very influential on students' mathematics learning outcomes, especially students' ability to solve math problems easily and quickly.</p>Nur Furqan Ahmad HasanHamzah UpuRosidah

<p>This study aims to find out whether there is an effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method on the reading comprehension ability based on character education of elementary students in discourse text material. The research subjects consisted of two schools, namely SDN 44 Kota Ternate as the experimental class and SDN 45 Kota Ternate as the control class. Research subjects were determined based on the results of the average pretest and posttest scores. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental research design involving experimental and control groups, with a non-equivalent control group design. Students' character education-based reading comprehension ability was measured using a multiplechoice test. Measurement results data were analyzed using the t-test with the help of the SPSS 16.0 for Windows program. The results of this study indicated that the average percentage value increased so that learning using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method on students' reading comprehension skills was higher 76, 33 compared to students who study with conventional learning. Research data analysis techniques were carried out by descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using a t-test with a significance of 0.050 for hypothesis testing. For this reason, based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method can affect the ability to read comprehension based on character education in fifth grade elementary school students.</p> <p> </p>Sumarni Bambang

<p>This study aims to determine the relationship between the principal's transformational leadership style, organizational culture, and job satisfaction of state elementary school teachers in Cidahu District, Sukabumi Regency. The research design used is descriptive research with a correlational approach. Subjects in this study (N = 163) were taken from the population and became a saturated sample. Data analysis used product moment correlation and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS v23 for Windows. The research results show that: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between the transformational leadership style of school principals and teacher job satisfaction, with a correlation value of 0.694. (2) Based on a statistical study using the Pearson correlation test, there is a positive and significant relationship between school organizational culture and teacher job satisfaction with a correlation value of 0.620. (3) The results of multiple regression tests show that the relationship between the transformational leadership style variable of the school principal (X1) and school organizational culture (X2) simultaneously has an impact on teacher job satisfaction (Y), which is equal to 54%.</p>Ani NurhadidjahErvin Reliavirli RustiTita RositaZainur Hidayat
