ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SISWA AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS (ASD) DI SLB NEGERI 1 KOTA BLITAR

Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan membaca siswa Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) di SLB Negeri 1 Kota Blitar. Dalam penelitian ini, metode kunatitatif deskriptif dipilih sebagai pendekatan, di mana peneliti terlibat secara langsung dalam interaksi dengan sumber data dan melakukan analisis tanpa mengubah karakteristik aslinya. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di SLB Negeri 1 Kota Blitar pada semester ganjil tahun 2023, dengan fokus subjek pada siswa ASD yang berada di kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil pada tahap identifikasi kata, acak kata, pemahaman kata, dan pemahaman kalimat menunjukkan adanya tantangan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman makna kata dan kalimat bagi siswa ASD. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran bagi siswa ASD, diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut dalam merancang strategi pengajaran yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan khusus mereka.
