Aims

Journal of Mathematics, Science and Technology (JMST) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes high-quality research in applied mathematics, statistics, computational science, data science, and quantitative technology. The journal focuses on the development and application of rigorous quantitative methods to address real-world problems, particularly those relevant to Indonesia and other developing regions.

JMST aims to strengthen the role of mathematical, statistical, and computational sciences in supporting evidence-based decision making, public policy, technological innovation, and sustainable national development. The journal promotes research that combines methodological soundness with practical relevance, especially in areas where quantitative approaches can contribute to solving complex social, economic, environmental, educational, health, and technological challenges.

JMST welcomes research that applies mathematical concepts, models, and computational techniques to solve practical problems in Indonesia and comparable developing contexts.

  • Numerical methods and scientific computing;including numerical analysis, finite element methods, differential equation solvers, high-performance computing, and computational algorithms.
  • Optimization and operations research;including linear and nonlinear optimization, scheduling, supply chain optimization, network optimization, and multi-criteria decision making.
  • Simulation of real-world systems;including agent-based simulation, Monte Carlo simulation, discrete-event simulation, and system performance analysis.
  • Dynamical systems and system modeling;including stability analysis, control systems, nonlinear systems, time-series modeling, and complex systems analysis.

✓ Priority Manuscripts

Priority is given to manuscripts that demonstrate the use of mathematical approaches for addressing real-world national or regional challenges, such as inter-island logistics, disaster-prone regions, food distribution, energy planning, public service optimization, and infrastructure development.
