Kebutuhan Dan Peluang Implementasi Konsep Gallery, Library, Archive, Museum (GLAM) Dalam Pengelolaan Pengetahuan Dan Konvergensi Digital Di Universitas Lampung

Abstract
The This article is the result of a 2024 BLU Grant research conducted by the University of Lampung (Unila), focusing on the needs and opportunities for implementing the GLAM concept. The ongoing trend of digital convergence as a global phenomenon should ideally be adopted by the University of Lampung through the application of GLAM concepts and practices within the campus environment. This study explores the extent of the needs and potential for implementing GLAM as an effort to integrate various information and knowledge management institutions within the University of Lampung into a single access point. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing focus group discussions (FGDs) with Unila archivists and librarians, field observations, and document studies. The findings indicate a significant need for GLAM implementation at Unila, which would enhance institutional identity, support institutional development, and contribute to sustainable development goals. The adoption of GLAM holds substantial potential to expand the roles of existing institutions, such as libraries and archives, while initiating the establishment of galleries and museums to support the Unila Tridharma. Currently, the major challenges lie in policy and regulatory frameworks that serve as a foundation and guiding structure, as well as the limitations of human resources and supporting technology.
