Abstract

Known as the word Cybercrime (crimes that occur online). This research needs to be carried out in order to provide education regarding legal protection for victims of online fraud to the public. The research method in this research is qualitative descriptive research with an empirical approach. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, documentation and literature study. This research was carried out at the Sukoharjo Police Station. The results of this research are legal protection for victims of online fraud on social media and obstacles for Sukoharjo Police investigators in detecting criminal cases of online fraud via electronic media.
