Digital Agripreneurship untuk Meningkatkan Minat Generasi Muda pada Usaha Peternakan

Rendahnya minat generasi muda terhadap usaha peternakan di Desa Cibalungun menjadi perhatian karena sektor ini sering dipersepsikan sebagai pekerjaan yang kurang bergengsi, identik dengan kerja fisik berat, serta tidak memberikan jaminan pendapatan yang stabil. Kondisi tersebut melemahkan regenerasi peternak dan mengancam keberlanjutan sektor peternakan di masa depan. Artikel ini menganalisis secara konseptual bagaimana digital agripreneurship dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan minat generasi muda terhadap peternakan di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan analisis konseptual melalui kajian literatur nasional dan internasional yang relevan serta integrasi temuan penelitian penulis sebelumnya. Analisis dilakukan melalui reduksi literatur, identifikasi tema, dan sintesis konsep sehingga menghasilkan pemahaman yang komprehensif. Temuan sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa dari 17 responden muda di Desa Cibalungun, hanya 29,4% yang berminat pada usaha peternakan. Faktor penyebab utamanya meliputi gengsi sosial, keterbatasan modal, akses informasi yang rendah, beban kerja fisik tinggi, dan ketidakpastian pendapatan. Digital agripreneurship menawarkan solusi melalui modernisasi usaha peternakan dengan penerapan Internet of Things (IoT), aplikasi manajemen ternak, pemasaran digital berbasis media sosial, serta pemanfaatan platform crowdfunding dan fintech untuk akses permodalan. Pendekatan ini berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi, memperluas jangkauan pasar, menurunkan beban kerja fisik, serta mengubah persepsi generasi muda terhadap profesi peternak. Secara konseptual, digital agripreneurship dapat menjadi strategi inovatif untuk mendorong regenerasi peternak dan memperkuat keberlanjutan sektor peternakan di era digital. Kajian lanjutan berbasis penelitian empiris diperlukan untuk menilai efektivitas implementasinya dalam konteks yang lebih luas.
