Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines and Manuscript Structure AgriDev Journal

Authors are invited to submit original research manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. If it is discovered in the future that the article has been published in another journal, the article will be withdrawn and the author will be blacklisted.

Manuscripts should be written in clear and concise English or Bahasa, and submitted in Microsoft Word version 2003-2016 (.doc or .docx). Manuscripts submitted that do not match the AgriDev journal template will be returned to the author for correction. The articles should be an original research findings that are in accordance with the focus and scope of the Journal and has novelty. If the submitted article consists of several authors, all co-authors will be notified. Every article that is sent will be given a specific number for correspondence purposes. Articles that have been reviewed will be sent to the author with comments and a publication decision through the OJS. Authors must also ensure that the articles have a similarity score of less than 20% based on Turnitin apps.

The following guidelines outline the required structure and content of submissions to AgriDev Journal.

 

Title

The title should be brief, specific, and informative, accurately reflecting the content of the manuscript. It should not exceed 15 words. Avoid abbreviations, jargon, or redundant words. The title is written in capital letters at the top center of the paragraph, using Times New Roman font, bold, size 14 pt.

Author Names and Institutions

The author names and institutions is written in Times New Roman 12 pt. List the full names of all authors, without academic or professional titles. Each author’s institutional affiliation should be included and should contain the name of the department, university or organization, city and country. One author must be clearly designated as the corresponding author, along with a valid email address for correspondence regarding the submission.

Abstract

The abstract is written in Times New Roman 11 pt and single spacing. The abstract should succinctly summarize the research problem, research objective, methodology, key findings, and conclusions. It should be written in both English and Bahasa if the main text is in Bahasa, or in English only if the manuscript is in English. The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must be comprehensive, without including statistical formulas or references. The abstract mus be followed by 3–5 relevant keywords (words or phrases), and sorted alphabetically.

 

Introduction

The introduction is written in Times New Roman 12 pt and 1.15 spacing. The introduction should provide sufficient background to understand the research context. It should include the research problem, relevant literature review or theories, the conceptual or theoretical framework, and clearly stated research objectives. Authors should justify a new perspective and significance of their study within the broader field of knowledge. References should be cited by the author's name and year.

Methods

The methods is written in Times New Roman 12 pt and 1.15 spacing. The author should include references that support the chosen research method. Next, describe the methods, models, and techniques used for data collection. Explain the research respondents or informants, including relevant characteristics such as location/region, gender, age, education level, and other aspects relevant to the research objectives. Describe the criteria used to select the sample, and if the study involves an experiment, include the treatment or intervention applied. Explain the instruments used, which may include questionnaires, tests, interviews, or observations. Elaborate on the aspects or factors measured by each instrument, and provide examples of the questions or items used. Describe the data collection procedures, the time frame used, any difficulties encountered in the field and their solutions, as well as other necessary details that may influence the validity and quality of the data.

Results and Discussions

The results and discussion is written in Times New Roman 12 pt and 1.15 spacing and may be presented in the same or separate subsections as needed. The research findings should provide justification or answers to the research questions. Present the research findings in a clear and logical manner using tables, figures, or charts where appropriate. Statistical analysis results should be reported along with a more interpretative explanation, rather than merely restating the numerical data shown in the tables or graphs. Use headings and subheadings to report the results and present the discussion. Organize the findings based on the tables and figures logically, and then provide explanations and analysis for each table. For qualitative research, findings should be presented according to themes that emerge from the data analysis.

Conclusions and Recommendations

The conclusions and recommendations is written in Times New Roman 12 pt and 1.15 spacing. The conclusion should briefly summarize the key findings of the study and their implications. The conclusion and recommendations is written in 1 paragraph. Recommendations for future research, practice, or policy may be included where relevant. This section should not introduce any new data or analysis.

References

All references must follow the latest edition of the American Psychological Association (APA 7th Edition) citation style. The minimum number of references must be 15 sources . At least 80% of the references should be from peer-reviewed journals or other primary sources, and published within the last ten years. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Zotero, End Note or Mendeley to ensure consistency.
