Analisis Nilai Tambah Pengolahan Buah Nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus) menjadi Produk Keripik Nangka di Kecamatan Banyuputih Kabupaten Batang

This study was carried out in Banyuputih District, Batang Regency, to examine the income earned, the financial feasibility, and the added value generated when jackfruit is processed into jackfruit chips. A descriptive analytical approach combined with an ex post facto design was applied, while respondents were selected purposively and the analysis drew on both primary and secondary data. The respondents comprised all jackfruit chip producers operating in the district. Data were gathered through structured interviews, field observation, and a review of supporting documents. Income was measured using the formula I = TR − TC, financial feasibility was assessed through the R/C ratio and ROI, and added value was calculated with the Hayami method. The findings show that one production cycle incurred total costs of IDR 5,701,514, generated revenue of IDR 9,180,000, and yielded an income of IDR 3,478,486. The R/C ratio reached 1.61 and the ROI 61%, whereas the added value amounted to IDR 11,531 per kilogram with an added value ratio of 53.23%. These results indicate that processing jackfruit into chips is profitable, worth developing, and able to deliver a relatively high added value.
