Pemberdayaan Generasi Milenial Melalui Budidaya Ikan Kuwe (Caranx sp) Dengan Sistem Keramba Jaring Apung

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out as an encouragement to the millennial generation to utilise the potential of marine aquaculture land and the quality of the aquatic environment in Lesane Village, Central Maluku Regency. The purpose of this service is to increase partners' knowledge and skills regarding kuwe fish farming (Caranx sp.) with the Floating Net Cage (KJA) system, increase partner participation in conducting kuwe fish farming activities (Caranx sp.) with the KJA system, and increase partner knowledge about the importance of groups in conducting fisheries business. The method in the form of participatory counselling through Kuwe Fish Farming (Caranx sp.) training activities with the KJA system is by means of discussions, lectures, and practises of making floating net cages and kuwe fish farming with partners, namely fish farming groups (Pokdakan) totaling 15 people. The results that have been achieved are the delivery of material on Good Fish Farming Methods (CBIB), carried out online by the Abdimas implementation team. The material presented includes location, design and layout, equipment, seeds, feed, fish medicine, cleanliness of the location, and facilities. Then, in the practise of making KJA, partners practise well where the KJA is made rectangular because it is influenced by the species kept, namely snapper.
