PEER REVIEWER PROCESS
Peer-Review Process
Peer-Review Process The Jurnal Pendidikan Ekonomi Kontemporer adheres to a Double-Blind Peer-Review process that is both swift and fair, ensuring the high quality of articles published. This approach aligns with the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Code of Conduct and Best Practice Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers. Each submitted paper undergoes a double-blind review, where both the identities of the reviewers and the authors are kept confidential. This ensures impartiality, avoiding any bias that might arise from the author's country of origin or previous controversial works. Based on their reports and recommendations, the papers may be accepted, required to undergo revisions, resubmitted for review, advised to be resubmitted elsewhere, or declined.
In this peer-review process, the anonymity of both reviewers and authors is maintained. Reviewers submit their reports and recommendations to the Editor, which may include one of the following actions:
1. Accept Submission;
2. Revisions Required;
3. Resubmit for Review;
4. Resubmit Elsewhere;
5. Decline Submission;
6. See comments.
Manuscripts categorized for revision will be returned to the authors by the Editor. Authors are granted a maximum of 4 weeks from the notification date to make revisions. After this period, revised manuscripts are treated as new submissions. Additionally, the Editor may return manuscripts to the authors prior to review if deemed out of scope, exceeding word length limits, or not adequately prepared for publication.
