Focus and Scope
Jurnal Pendidikan Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh is a peer-reviewed journal, published twice a year (June and December) by the Institute for Research and Community Services Universitas Terbuka. The journal publishes research and scholarly material in the fields of open, distance and flexible education where learners are free from the constraints of the time, pace, and place of study, and educational technology. Manuscripts containing a critical analysis of the scientific literature on the topic of distance education, distance learning, online learning, and management in distance education, may also be published.
The aim of this journal is to publish quality research articles and/or conceptual theory that have the potential to contribute to the development of science through further research, educational policies, and practices, in various contexts and research paradigms. Manuscripts have to meet the following characteristics.
- Have a clear theoretical framework
- Clearly demonstrate the relationship and relevance between the literature as a reference source and the topic under study
- Have the appropriate research design and complete data analysis
- Comprehensively and critically discuss data in relation to the research context
Jurnal Pendidikan Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh accepts manuscripts in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
