Editorial Process
Administrative staff and technical team assist the author in the administrative process during the journal review process until the article is published. The administrative staff also helps to communicate between the writer and the editor as well as information regarding the provisions and process of articles published in Manilkara. In addition, the administrative staff ensures that the format is following the template determined by Manilkara.
The editorial team helps deal with manuscript substance problems from the initial submission until the manuscript is published. For the published manuscripts to be of good quality and objective in the manuscript review process, the editor of Manilkara collaborates with the Reviewer Team (Peer Review) who are very competent and have no doubts about their ability in the field of biology.
To produce an objective manuscript, in addition to facilitating reviews and input from the reviewer team, the editor together with the reviewer team makes a decision on the acceptance and publication of the manuscript.

Appeal
An appeal can be made by sending an official appeal letter to the Manilkara journal email: manilkara@ecampus.ut.ac.id by providing reasons and proof of documents/notes. An appeal by the author will only be considered if the reviewer or editor has made a significant error in terms of substance and objectivity referring to the stored document which can then change the original decision.
Appeals will be discussed between reviewers and editors. The decision on the appeal will be given after discussion, and it is possible to request data from the authors.
During the appeal process, the manuscript is still under the authority of the Manilkara journal and cannot be sent to other journals. The decision on appeal is final without exception.
