Plagiarism
The Editorial Team of the Qualeum Journal of Business and Management recognizes that plagiarism is unacceptable and has established the following policy outlining specific actions and penalties to be implemented when plagiarism is identified in articles submitted for publication.
Definition: Plagiarism refers to the intentional or unintentional act of obtaining or attempting to obtain credit for scientific work by using any portion of another party's work, or work recognized as belonging to another, without proper and complete source attribution.
Accordingly, all articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Material obtained verbally from other sources must be clearly identified to distinguish it from the original text. The journal employs industry-standard software, such as Turnitin, to verify all submissions for plagiarism. If plagiarism is detected during the peer review process, the manuscript may be rejected. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, an investigation will be conducted and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the journal's policies.
