The meaning of Reksabumi is caring of the earth. Earth comes from the Sanskrit bhumi which means land (place of life). Bhumi can be interpreted as the biosphere which is a geographical unit of land space, air space, and water space. Therefore, the common earth means preserving living space which is the domain of the urban and regional planning science as well as the environmental science. With this, it is hoped that the regional and city planning UT can be grounded in the archipelago.
