COPYRIGHT NOTICE
Authors who publish with SIMBION: Journal of Science Biology and Online Learning agree to the following terms:
- Copyright Retention: For all articles published in SIMBION, authors retain the copyright to their work. However, by submitting and upon acceptance of their manuscript for publication, authors grant the journal non-exclusive publishing rights. This agreement allows the publisher to disseminate the work under specified conditions.
- License Agreement: Authors grant the journal the right of first publication and agree to license their work under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International License. This license permits others to share, adapt, and build upon the work, provided that proper credit is given to the original authors and the work’s initial publication in this journal is acknowledged.
- Additional Distribution: Authors are allowed to enter into separate, additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of their work (for example, posting it in an institutional repository or including it in a book), with a clear acknowledgment of its first publication in SIMBION.
- Pre-publication Posting: Authors are encouraged to post their manuscripts online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their websites) both before and during the submission process. Early online posting can facilitate productive academic exchanges and may lead to increased citations and greater visibility of the published work.
By adhering to these terms, SIMBION aims to support the broad dissemination and accessibility of scholarly work while ensuring that authors retain significant rights over their contributions.
