About the Journal

HEXAGON: Jurnal Ilmu dan Pendidikan Matematika is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal that provides a platform for the dissemination of research and scholarly works in the fields of mathematics education, mathematics, and applied mathematics. The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of mathematical knowledge and educational practices by publishing original, rigorous, and relevant scholarly contributions from researchers, academics, educators, and practitioners.

HEXAGON was first published in April 2023 and is managed by the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia. The journal is published twice a year, in April and October, and welcomes scholarly contributions addressing theoretical, empirical, methodological, and practical developments within its areas of interest.

As an open-access journal, HEXAGON is committed to making scholarly knowledge freely accessible and supporting the dissemination and exchange of research within national and international academic communities. All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial screening and a double-blind peer-review process to maintain the quality, originality, and integrity of published works.
