Other Policies

HEXAGON: Jurnal Ilmu dan Pendidikan Matematika is committed to maintaining transparency, editorial independence, and responsible scholarly communication. The following policies describe the journal's approach to funding, advertising, and direct marketing activities.

Journal Funding

HEXAGON is published and institutionally supported by Universitas Terbuka. The journal's editorial, administrative, and publishing activities are supported through institutional resources provided by the publisher.

Sources of journal funding do not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts. Editorial decisions are made independently based on the scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and suitability of the manuscript to the journal's Focus and Scope.

Advertising Policy

HEXAGON does not currently accept commercial advertising on its journal website or within published articles. The journal's editorial content and publication decisions are therefore independent of commercial advertising interests.

If advertising is introduced in the future, any advertisement will be clearly distinguished from editorial and scholarly content. Advertising arrangements will not influence editorial decisions, peer-review processes, manuscript selection, or the content of published articles.

Direct Marketing Policy

HEXAGON may promote journal information, calls for papers, newly published content, and other scholarly activities through appropriate academic, institutional, professional, email, website, and social media communication channels.

All direct marketing and promotional activities conducted by or on behalf of HEXAGON must be accurate, professional, transparent, and relevant to the journal's scholarly community. Promotional communications must not contain misleading information, exaggerated claims, or guarantees of manuscript acceptance, expedited publication, indexing, citation, or other editorial outcomes.

Direct marketing activities are conducted independently of editorial and peer-review decisions. Authors will not receive preferential editorial treatment as a result of responding to promotional communications, and participation in journal promotion does not affect the evaluation or publication of submitted manuscripts.
