Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

The International Journal of Research in STEM Education (IJRSE) is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its scholarly record. The journal recognizes digital preservation as an essential component of responsible scholarly publishing and seeks to ensure that published content remains accessible beyond the operational lifetime of the journal website or publishing platform.

1. Digital Preservation

IJRSE maintains its published scholarly content in digital form through its journal publishing platform and institutional infrastructure. Published articles, associated metadata, and journal issue information are maintained as part of the journal's permanent scholarly record.

The journal seeks to protect its digital content against accidental loss, technological change, platform disruption, and other risks that may affect long-term accessibility.

IJRSE is published within the institutional environment of Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia. The journal's digital content and publication records are maintained through the University's journal infrastructure as part of its commitment to the continuity and preservation of scholarly communication.

3. Preservation Metadata and the Keepers Registry

The Keepers Registry, integrated with the ISSN Portal, provides information concerning the preservation status of serial publications reported by participating archiving agencies. IJRSE uses information available through these services to support the monitoring and verification of the archival status of its scholarly content.

The ISSN Portal also provides authoritative bibliographic information for the identification and tracking of serial publications.

4. Metadata Preservation and Discoverability

IJRSE maintains bibliographic and publication metadata associated with its articles and issues to support identification, citation, discovery, indexing, and long-term scholarly access.

Relevant metadata may be distributed to or harvested by scholarly indexing services, repositories, library systems, academic search engines, and other scholarly information infrastructures in accordance with the journal's publishing and metadata dissemination practices.
