Building on its growth from a regionally represented journal to an international scholarly platform that has engaged researchers from four continents, IJRSE continues to advance its mission of fostering global dialogue and innovation in STEM education. It is therefore with great pleasure and gratitude that we present Volume 8, Number 1 (2026) of the International Journal of Research in STEM Education (IJRSE). This issue features eight scholarly contributions from researchers affiliated with institutions in Bhutan, Canada, the United States, the Philippines, Nigeria, Egypt, South Korea, and Indonesia, reflecting scholarly connections across 4 (Four) Continents through the affiliations and collaborative networks represented in this volume. Addressing themes ranging from virtual laboratories, equitable assessment, and inclusive STEM practices to language as educational infrastructure, mathematical resilience, metaphorical thinking, and learning analytics, these articles collectively reflect the continued advancement of STEM education in an increasingly interconnected and AI-powered world. We sincerely thank all authors and reviewers for their valuable contributions and warmly invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners worldwide to submit their work for future issues of IJRSE.
