1. Journal Ownership and Publisher

International Journal of Theory and Application in Elementary and Secondary School Education (IJTAESE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia.

The publisher is responsible for providing institutional support, publishing infrastructure, journal administration, and operational sustainability. Journal ownership does not imply ownership of individual articles' copyrights, which are governed by the journal's copyright and licensing policies.

2. Editorial Management and Responsibilities

IJTAESE is academically managed by the Editor-in-Chief, supported by the Editorial Board, peer reviewers, and editorial staff.

The editorial team is responsible for manuscript screening, peer-review management, editorial decisions, publication ethics, and maintaining scientific quality. All manuscripts must be evaluated based on originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.

3. Editorial Independence

IJTAESE maintains editorial independence from its publisher, institutional authorities, sponsors, and other external parties. Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief or designated editors based solely on scholarly merit and ethical standards.

Any actual or potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed and appropriately managed in accordance with the journal's Conflict of Interest Policy and the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

4. Financial and Operational Support

The publisher is responsible for supporting the journal's administrative and technical operations, online accessibility, and long-term sustainability.

Financial considerations, including any applicable publication fees, must not influence editorial decisions. Payment of fees does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or preferential treatment.
