About the Journal

International Journal of Theory and Application in Elementary and Secondary School Education (IJTAESE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia. Established in 2019, the journal holds P-ISSN: 2656-0003 and E-ISSN: 2684-7167. IJTAESE is published twice a year and focuses on educational theories, research, and practices aimed at improving the quality of teaching and learning in elementary and secondary education. The journal covers a broad range of topics, including child development, cognitive psychology, sociology of education, teaching and learning methodologies, educational technology, curriculum development and evaluation, school and community-based management, and teacher professional development. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, scholars, educators, and practitioners to disseminate research findings and contribute to the advancement of elementary and secondary education.

International Journal of Theory and Application in Elementary and Secondary School Education (IJTAESE) has been officially accredited as a SINTA 4 (Grade 4) scientific journal by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, pursuant to Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, dated March 21, 2025. This accreditation is valid from Volume 4, Number 1 (2022), through Volume 8, Number 2 (2026).

International Journal of Theory and Application in Elementary and Secondary School Education (IJTAESE), Volume 7, Number 2 (2025), features 5 scientific articles authored by 12 researchers from 5 countries. The geographical distribution of authors includes Indonesia (6 authors), Nigeria (2 authors), Ethiopia (2 authors), Kenya (1 author), and the United States of America (1 author).

Among the 6 authors affiliated with Indonesian institutions, the geographical distribution covers 2 provinces, comprising East Java (4 authors) and West Sumatra (2 authors). These authors represent four Indonesian educational institutions.

This issue reflects national and international scholarly contributions to advancing educational research, teaching practices, curriculum development, and educational technology in elementary and secondary education.
