Process skills are a collection of fundamental abilities that help students comprehend physics concepts through scientific procedures, methods, and mindsets. However, X-E6 students' process scientific abilities are still mediocre. The research was then planned using a renewable energy reservoir and a guided inquiry model to improve the scientific process' abilities. This study employed the Kemmis and McTaggart model class action research method. This class action research phase is conducted over the course of two study cycles and consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. According to the research conducted, students at SMAN 5 Surakarta in grades X-E6 can have their process skills enhanced by using guided inquiry models in conjunction with renewable energy. The percentage of cases whose pre-cycle skills were not below average and then improved in cycles I and II served as evidence for this. Cycle I contained unfinished skill components, with the highest percentages in experiment design skills at 84.03%, and the abilities of developing hypotheses at 73.61%. Cycle II involved seven skill aspects that were scored: 86.81% for observation, 80.56%) for developing a hypothesis, 88.89% for experiment design, 91.67% for experiment execution, 84.03%) for data interpretation, 83.33% for prediction, and 84.03% for communication aspects.
